Right of reply
If you are on here, you get to answer. Automatically, and in the same place people read the accusation.
Claiming your profile
Sign in with the X account the profile names. The handle is matched against the tracked profile and the claim is granted immediately — there is no form, no waiting, and nobody at this end decides whether you are you.
Handle changed? Old handles are kept as aliases, so a rename does not orphan a profile or let you escape one.
What a claim gives you
- A verified response on any individual receipt, rendered inline in the timeline — not collected at the bottom where nobody scrolls.
- A profile-level response for context that spans receipts.
- A verified-subject marker, so readers can tell your reply from a stranger’s.
What it does not give you
- Editing or deleting receipts about you.
- Voting your own score down.
- Hiding the timeline.
A claim is a microphone, not a mute button. This is the thing that separates a record from an anonymous hate board, and it only works if it is the same record either way.
What actually moves the number
Arguing does not. Evidence does. A response with transactions that contradict a receipt gets that receipt marked contested — its weight drops from 0.45 or 1.0 to 0.20 — or debunked, which is zero. That is usually a larger correction than anything a takedown request would achieve.
If something is genuinely defamatory or unsafe rather than merely unflattering, read the takedown policy.
